It also helps to remove any build-up of sunscreen, sweat, and dirt that can clog pores and lead to breakouts.   5. Cool down with aloe vera: If you do get sunburned, aloe vera can help soothe and cool your skin. Apply aloe vera gel directly to the affected area and repeat as often as necessary.
  6. Eat a healthy diet: Eating a healthy diet rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals can help protect your skin from the inside out. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein in your diet.
