Men's Health

Perform. At Work. On the Field. In the Bedroom.

Here’s what you need to know – We do not have a one size fits all approach to Testosterone Optimization Therapy (TOT). Every treatment is unique. Just like every individual.

Hormone Optimization and Testosterone Therapy

We focus on how you feel throughout your treatment. We adjust treatment plans according to how you feel, not just the lab value. If you’ve been told you’re “normal” but don’t see any change, we have the treatment program for you!

As men age, it’s common for your Testosterone levels to drop over time. After the age of 30, most men experience a steady decline over the years. This can lead to decreased sex drive, low energy, weight gain and much more. Our TOT program is designed to help you recapture that feeling of youth and achieve your goals.

  • Build lean muscle
  • Increase your sex drive
  • Burn more fat
  • Have more overall energy
  • Support healthy bone density

What are the symptoms of low testosterone in men?

Testosterone levels naturally decline as men age. When your testosterone levels go down, you may experience:

  1. Infertility
  2. Loss of muscle mass
  3. Loss of bone mass (osteoporosis)
  4. Decrease in beard and body hair growth
  5. Development of breast tissue (gynecomastia)
  6. Difficulty concentrating
  7. Fatigue

How is low testosterone in men treated?

Treatment for low testosterone (Low T) consists of hormone optimization. Many men need testosterone therapy, but if you have hypogonadism caused by a problem in the pituitary gland, you may need to replace pituitary hormones.

When you or a loved one are facing Low T symptoms, don’t choose just any doctor.

At JW Holland, we are focused on resolving your symptoms rather than suppressing symptoms.  We don’t JUST rely on the traditional approach; we are focused on optimizing our patient’s health as efficiently as we can backed by the latest studies and state-of-the-art technology.

FAQ on TOT

How Long Does TOT Take To Start Working?

Most men can expect therapy to start producing benefits within weeks of starting TOT. The first noticeable effects are more energy, better sleep, and libido.

Over the course of 3-6 months is when we start seeing the underlying health markers improve, such as blood pressure, insulin, heart rate, bone density, mental health, muscle growth and more.

What Are The Benefits of Testosterone?

Adults benefit from testosterone for life and need healthy levels in order to stay healthy and free of illness and disease. The symptoms and diseases normally encountered due to low levels of testosterone are cardiovascular disease, diabetes, bone loss, mental health and more. The benefits of testosterone are a healthy mind and body.

Testosterone is a hormone that protects the body and allows it to function optimally, including secondary and positive effects such as muscle mass, strength, endurance, decreased fat, and increased exercise tolerance. Testosterone also improves libido and sexual function.

At optimal levels, testosterone increases bone density and reduces the risk of osteoporosis. It has many beneficial and protective effects on the cardiovascular system. Testosterone’s vasodilatory effects help lower blood pressure, improving or protecting against hypertension and heart disease. It lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and increases HDL (good) cholesterol levels.

Testosterone reduces insulin resistance, body fat, and arthritis. It improves skin tone, collagen production, and healing capacity. It decreases inflammation and has been shown to reduce degenerative joint disease. Testosterone is also a great mood enhancer and imparts a sense of well-being in men and women.
